Here is the story of Kari Dowers who became Hiro's best friend, Breann's confident, and Ryuzakai's right hand. This story begins and ends at about roughly the same time as Hiro's, and is, of sorts, a retelling of the same story, but from her perspective. But make no mistake, her story is just as important as Hiro's, and, in some ways, of even greater importance.
